CortexOS
Cortex's internal management system
CortexOS is the system the team at Cortex runs on. It keeps the company's projects, tasks, calendar, finances, people and documents in one place, so that nothing important depends on somebody remembering it.
Projects
Every project on one pipeline, from idea through development to growth, with the stage and health of each visible at a glance.
Tasks
Work items with an owner, a priority and a deadline, grouped by project and by status.
Calendar
Meetings, task deadlines, debt due dates and subscription renewals on a single calendar. A personal Google Calendar can optionally be shown alongside them, read-only.
Finance
Income and expenses per project, monthly recurring revenue, runway, and the debts the company still owes.
Team
Who is on the team, what each person does, and which parts of the system each role may see and change.
Documents and assets
Contracts and files, plus the domains, servers and subscriptions the company pays for and when they renew.
A private, invitation-only system
This is not a public product and there is no sign-up. Accounts are created by the founders of Cortex for people who work there. Access to finances, debts and sensitive documents is limited by role, and every screen checks those permissions on the server.
Connecting a Google Calendar is optional and uses read-only permission — CortexOS cannot create, change or delete anything in anyone's calendar.
